Nicola Vacca

CEO of Special Car Group

Nicola Vacca has driven the growth and transformation of the Special Car Group, founded by his father Gianni in 1974. Since joining in 1989, he has guided the group’s expansion into Sardinia’s leading premium automotive network, representing brands such as BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, and Maserati.

With a forward-thinking and innovation-oriented mindset, he focuses on long-term value creation and sustainable growth. Beyond the automotive sector, he co-manages the family office, overseeing diversified investments in real estate, food, marine, motorcycle, and technology industries.

Under his leadership, Special Car has embraced sustainability and future mobility initiatives, positioning itself as a dynamic, multi-brand player in the luxury mobility landscape.

Gianmauro Vacca

Co-Leader of Special Car Group

Gian Mauro Vacca co-leads the Special Car Group alongside his brother Nicola, carrying forward the entrepreneurial legacy and passion for mobility established by their father Gianni in 1974. He has been instrumental in developing the group’s retail operations and shaping it into a premium, customer-oriented automotive network across Sardinia.

Renowned for his hands-on leadership and focus on operational excellence, he also co-manages the family office, active in real estate, food, marine, motorcycle, and technology sectors. His pragmatic approach and strong relationship-building skills have positioned him as a trusted partner in both industrial and institutional contexts, driving the group’s steady and sustainable growth

Entrepreneur, Investor, and Former Formula1 Driver

Emanuele Naspetti is a former Formula 1 driver and successful entrepreneur with deep roots in the automotive world. His professional racing career spanned over 25 years, during which he competed at the highest levels of motorsport — including Formula 1, Prototype, GT, and Touring Cars — as well as in iconic endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Spa 24 Hours, and 12 Hours of Sebring.

After achieving international recognition on the track, Naspetti transitioned into business, applying his precision and competitive mindset to the automotive sector. He founded and managed ten companies employing over 150 people, generating around €100 million in annual turnover. His dealership network represented Mercedes-Benz and Iveco, reinforcing his expertise in automotive retail and strategic management.

Today, he is a key partner in automotive development projects and an active investor across real estate and other sectors.

Alessandro Cicchetti

Executive, Entrepreneur, and Strategic Advisor

With over 30 years of international leadership experience across major multinationals, family offices, and private equity, Alessandro Cicchetti is a recognized executive and entrepreneur with a strong track record in automotive, FMCG, fashion, luxury, hospitality, and M&A.

He has held senior roles at Procter & Gamble, Fiat/Iveco, Piaggio, Miroglio, and Al Tayer Group, and later served as CEO of Annabel Holding (Nicola Bulgari Family Office), managing over €500 million in diversified investments spanning automotive, fashion, food, and real estate.

In the automotive industry, Cicchetti spent more than a decade in key leadership positions, including Worldwide Sales & Marketing Director at Iveco and Vice President of Marketing & Network Development at Piaggio. He also led an innovative Italian dealership group as CEO.

Today, he advises companies in packaging, fashion, food, and beauty on strategic growth, M&A, and digital transformation, leveraging his extensive international and cross-sector experience.
